Hotel West Ealing

Urgent fire safety works carried out to support the opening of a hotel in West Ealing under significant time pressure, with part of the building still under construction.

The client requested urgent support across all fire safety elements ahead of the scheduled opening. At the time of attendance, one section of the hotel remained under ongoing construction and required the installation of a temporary fire alarm system to maintain life safety during the works. In parallel, issues were identified with the permanent fire alarm system, and a full fire door inspection was required as part of readiness for opening. We were asked to address all items as a matter of urgency.

A temporary fire alarm system was installed to cover the construction area, the permanent fire alarm system was restored to a fault-free condition and fully commissioned, and a full inspection of all fire doors was completed. Our engineers remained on site beyond normal working hours, with a fire alarm commissioning engineer in attendance, to ensure all systems were tested, verified, and operational. Through coordinated effort and extended working hours, the hotel was able to open on time.
