David Rakotoson

David Rakotoson, a leading fire alarm engineer in London, is renowned for his extensive knowledge and expertise in fire alarm systems. His father met David's mother during his studies in Mechanical Engineering in Poland. David inherited his father's love for music and engineering skills.

As a Polish immigrant in the UK, David initially took on various jobs as a teenager, including trash collection and lorry driving, never shying away from hard work. Before becoming Chief Executive Officer at Anchor Fire Ltd, David spent over 10 years working for fire alarm companies in London. Early in his career, David was eager to learn and had the opportunity to be mentored by pioneers in the fire alarm industry in London. Known for his exceptional fault-finding techniques, David became famous for resolving long-standing issues in fire alarm systems. He credits his ability to resolve the toughest issues that have stumped others for years, as well as his overall success in the fire alarm industry, to God's guidance.

His career advanced as he developed commissioning skills, working on major projects such as The Shard or British Airways Operation Base at Heathrow. David's expertise led to his appointment as a Senior Commissioning Engineer and eventually to the founding of his own company, Anchor Fire Ltd, where he became Chief Executive Officer on May 5, 2021.

David's work includes some of London's most iconic and recognizable buildings, biggest London's data centres, and various banks. As a fire alarm designer, he is well-versed in BS 5839, ensuring compliance and safety in every project he undertakes.

On a personal note, David is a devoted husband and father of two. In his free time, he enjoys creating music with his wife and has also arranged music for his sisters on their album.
